Gokul prasad is an MBA graduate living in dubai with his parents .His father P.Prasad kumar is a                                                                                                                                                     civil engineer  currently working as a GM constructions for Danube properties one of the top 3                                                                                                                                                         developers in dubai .His mother sumi prasad  is holding Msc ( electronics) degree and was a                                                                                                                                                         lecturer in kerala .She is a carnatic trained singer and  resigned her job to support Gokul in his                                                                                                                                                       musical journry .

                                                                                                                                                   Gokul's music career started at the age of 5. He started practicing Carnatic music at the age of                                                                                                                                                      10 from his grand father and mother. His  great-grandfather, Raamankutty Menon, was the first                                                                                                                                                        guru of Yesudas Sir.Gokul  had the opportunity to meet Illayaraja Sir and sing keerthanam in front                                                                                                                                                    of him.He also  met GV Prakash  and  had the opportunity to sing in Golden Voice of UAE in front                                                                                                                                                    of him and  got 2nd runner up.He also met Harris Jayaraj  and sang his evergreen song                                                                                                                                                                 "Nenjukkul Peidhidum" in front of him.He  met D.Imman and got his blessings  as well. HE  met                                                                                                                                                       Chitra  once and took her blessings .He have done 15 musical albums in which the  favourite                                                                                                                                                         albums are Nanban, Dubai Vaasi, Kaalame Thirumbudhe, Asuraa and Oru Kunju Rosapoo.Singer Mano  presence in Kaalame Thirumbudhe launch   at chennai prasad studio was very  special.The  biggest moment his life was  singing along  with the legendary singer Mano infront of 3000 plus crowd in dubai  .After the show Mano sir offered him to mentor Gokul and by God's grace once in a week he meet Gokul on line and giving useful tips for improvement. He  also had the opportunity to sing in front of Superstar Suresh Gopi one of the most famous actors in the Malayalam industry. He went  as a guest singer in Vijay TV through Mano Sir and had the opportunity to interact with legends like Anuraadha Mam, Sujaatha Mam and Sean Roldan Sir.Also, I had the wonderful opportunity to sing with Saindhavi Mam, Super Singer Diwakar Anna and A.R.Reihaanah Mam.One of the major milestones  for me as a singer was recording the beautiful album "Iyarkayin Nizhal" in Firduas Studio dubai ,a dream come true for me.I sang with Mano Sir in Mounaraagam Murali Sir's concert in Coimbatore.A feather in his cap is that he  was part  Asian book of Records for singing 24 hours non stop  conducted by Salwa light music  Team. Hehad the wonderful opportunity to sing in front of producer P.Vasu Sir. worked with the amazing music director Rinil Gowtham in a  malayalam movie which will release soon .He had the wonderful opportunity to get mentored  by the legendary singer M.J.Shriram .His current guru's are Playback Singers Roshni Siresh ,Pradeep baabu and Manjunath k.Vijayan(actor Manoj k jayan's brother).Pradeep baabu and Roshni suresh played key role in his musical carrier .He can sing fluently in 4 languages ie Tamil,malayalam Hindi and English .He had sing in more than 250 stages which include 2 major shows in Kamarajar arangam chennai .Music is his  passion and his aim is to become a play back singer.
